Step inside and you will see the hallway is festooned with awards - testimony to the high standards of hospitality that make the Rose and Crown one of the foremost hotels in Teesdale, which, before the boundary changes was the most northerly dale in the Yorkshire Dales and now one of the Durham Dales.
