The Automobile Association has awarded The Rose and Crown 2 Red Stars for the past 9 years. This signifies the very best in its class and is one of only two Red Star hotels in the North East. The inn also has been awarded Two Rosettes for the past 19 years for the quality of its Restaurant cuisine.
