‘Come Rain Come Shine’

It’s a common old problem - you take a short break in a new area... by the time you have found out what there is to do, you may only have one or at best a couple of days left. Or to put it another way - how many times have you said on the way home – ‘if only we had known’.

Well, we hope in our own modest little way that help is at hand!

‘Come Rain Come Shine’ is our very own booklet that aims to tell you of some of the things that you might like to do and places that you could visit whilst staying here at the Rose and Crown. We make no apologies – it is a highly personal account based on some of our days out over the years. You will find directions, very approximate travel times… even recommendations on where to eat.  Also listed are opening times but these can change and you are advised to check these before setting out.
