Chris Davy has 'lived hotels' all his working life. In 1970 he started his training at London's Westminster Hotel School and then followed with key management posts at hotels in the UK.
After Alison graduated with a French honour’s degree they married in 1982. A year later they bought their first business in Cumbria and in 1989 they sold on to buy the Rose and Crown at Romaldkirk.
Whilst still very actively involved on a day-to-day basis they are assisted by a great team of dedicated staff who nowadays do much of the running around... thankfully!
