COVID-19 update

17 September 2020

The Rose & Crown is open and welcoming guests and we are working to 4 key principals in line with covid-secure guidelines:

Staff training all of our team have received training prior to returning to work on the special safety measures that we have in place and how to minimise risk.

Extra cleaning - on top of our usual high standards we have implemented an additional layer of cleaning that involves regular sanitisation of touch points throughout the property and in bedrooms there is a programme of sanitisation between guests.

Extra space - we have removed some tables and chairs from our restaurant and bar to have 1m+ spacing and have increased our outdoor seating.

Clean hands - we have sanitiser points throughout the guest areas and staff areas including an automatic unit at the main entrace.

Lunch & dinner is currently by prior booking only. Outside seating is available for drinkers but can not be reserved in advance. In line with current legislation there should be no more than 6 people on any one table inside or outside. It is also mandatory for visitors to provide us with their details for NHS track & trace. Thank you for your understanding during this unusual period of rules and regs!

The Bar & Restaurant will close at 10pm in line with current legislation.

Face coverings - these will be worn by our front house service team in line with current legislation which also states that customers should wear a face covering in public indoor areas when not seated. Who would have thought it?!

Thank you.
