Our kitchen team create great tasting food that utilises the best of local produce and ingredients with excellent provenance and from sources with high standards of animal welfare. It's about dishes that reflect our stunning rural location using both classical and contemporary cooking techniques with an eye for detail.

Served in the bar from 12pm-2.30pm. Choose from sandwiches, light bites and an à la carte lunch menu. Also served outside when the weather permits.
Sunday: we offer an à la carte menu including traditional roasts in the bar and the oak panelled room from 12pm-2.30pm. 2 courses - £21, 3 courses - £24.50
NB. On Mondays we offer a more limited menu of platters and sandwiches as this is our kitchen deep-clean day.

Our à la carte dinner menu is available in the bar and oak panelled room from 6pm-8.30pm daily.

- Children are welcome (under 8's up until 8pm)
- Dogs are welcome in the bar (on a lead)
- Please note that the maximum size table we can accommodate is 8 people in the bar and 12 people in the Oak panelled room.
*We advise guests against turning up for an evening meal without a booking. Tables are allocated for the evening (we do not relay) and the kitchen freshly prepare food according to our business levels to avoid wastage. Just because we have an empty table it does not necessarily mean we can accommodate you. Even if it is just a few hours before hand please call in advance to book before travelling. Thank you.

The Oak Panelled Room - is available to book for private lunch parties Monday to Saturday for up to 20 people. Please give us a call for further details and to discuss your requirements.
Tasting Menu - our head chef, Dave Hunter, can tailor a six-course tasting menu to your liking and this can be enjoyed by up to 10 people when booking the Oak Panelled Room for a private lunch party. Prices from £50 per person but please call to discuss this in person with Dave.
